Every year when a chill hits the air people run around to make a holiday
And the snow just covers up all the things that were worrying them only yesterday

Because it’s wintertime again
And the last leaf falls on what has been
And as this year comes to an end
I am thinking about starting again, again

Pretty soon I will start some seeds of hope in my windowsill
And in the Spring I will plant these dreams, but for now, the snow makes time stand still
